Our history

An Extraordinary Story

With remarkable energy and dedication, this association has, over the years, brought together a large number of volunteers and employees. Many among them possess exceptional talents that allow collective ambitions to flourish with passion.

In 1996, the association launched its first medieval festival. Its success quickly boosted its reputation and fueled enthusiasm. Year after year, the "Médiévales" continued to grow, attracting an ever-larger audience. This expansion gave the association a new dimension, propelling its human adventure to the next level.

Today, thanks to its strong foundation, the association confidently embarks on large-scale events, bringing numerous new projects to life.

Creation of Le Petit Pays in 2006

Now a key cultural player in the "Geneva region", "Andilly Loisirs" decided in 2006 to unite its major events under the name "Le Petit Pays." Today, "Le Petit Pays" extends its kingdom across three distinct locations, two of which remain in the "commune of Andilly": "La Cure" and "La Forêt des Moulins". The third site is located in "Saint-Blaise", on the "Mont Sion" estate.

4 Fabulous Worlds to Discover

Throughout the seasons, explore the four magical worlds of "Le Petit Pays", which welcome over 400,000 visitors each year:

  • Les Grandes Médiévales d’Andilly, held over five days in May/June.
  • Le Grand Parc d'Andilly, open throughout the summer.
  • The Santa's Hamlet
  • The Christmas Park.
